The hauntings of Wollaton Hall start from as early as the 1700s,
after Lady Middleton, the lady of the house was said to have had a
bad fall down a set of stairs that left her paralized.
For the rest of her life she was confined to room 19, a place where she nursed
her children as babies. It is said that she now haunts room 19 where she
became a prisoner after the accident and eventually died after very painful years
of being bed-ridden.
There have since been reports of doors slamming, a chilled atmosphere and
groans of pain around the area and corridor of room 19.
